Most of radiation detectors around NPP were destroyed due to Tsunami during the devastating Fukushima accident in March, 2011, and the radiation measurement in the damaged area was not possible. Rapid deployable radiation detectors enable regulatory personnel to install quickly with minimum radiation exposure and start monitoring in response to the emergency.
